Basic Rider Course
The Basic Rider Course is available in Winslow, Maine.
It covers the basics of operating a motorcycle and safety-oriented mental strategies. Motorcycles are provided for your use during the class. Successful completion of this course, consisting of five hours of formal classroom activities and ten hours of riding instruction conducted over three sessions, plus a knowledge and skill tests will earn the required documentation to take to the DMV to put the endorsement on your valid driver’s license. The course may also earn you an insurance discount.

What you’ll need:
- Balance owed on arrival Friday evening.
- Your E-course completion: a legible pic on your phone will suffice. The ID#’s from your Certificate is needed for the State of Maine.
- A DOT approved helmet of your choice.
- Gloves of your choice: leather is preferable.
- A pair of boots or shoes above the ankle.
- Long sleeves: shirt or jacket.
- Full-length pants: no shorts.
